Memories made in Paris ;

Finally have the time to write about the trip to Paris! Paris ; city of love. Sorry for the delayed, thanks to my macbook for crashing rapidly.

Anyways, we took the train from London to Paris, it took around 2 hour and half to arrive if I'm not mistaken. By the time we arrived, it's already 5pm odd. The underground is unlike in London's, to be honest, it's much dirtier than in London's. On the other hand, you've to be very careful of your belongings and not to trust any offer given by those youngster who claimed they worked there, it's all a scam. Surprised that Paris would have such problems right? Me either.

Let's start with Day 1 memories made in Paris:

As we arrived in the evening, we sort of wasted a day in Paris. We only get to have dinner, a Chinese restaurant. Didn't take any picture for the first day as I'm tired and nothing special to be snapped. Oh before I forgot, felt so proud that I managed to talk to a lady in French by asking her directions to Chinese restaurants. Hahaha. After all those time learning French, it was worth it. Haha.

Those typical vintage type of lift in hotels that usually showed in old films.

Day 2 memories made in Paris:

We had brunch at one of the cafe which served us pastries. After that, we head to Champ Élysées & we went to La Fayette and Printemps which are famous for designer items. Just name any luxury brand and they'll have it. Example: Saint Laurent, Prada, Miumiu, Givenchy, Celine & many more. It's so classy. Well obviously it's a shopping spree day! We spent almost the whole day there. The price it's definitely much cheaper than Malaysia plus they have tax refund. There are too many choices that I've tons of dilemmas going on. So I got myself a medium Pink Prada Safiano! So blessed! Hehe.

After a satisfying shopping, we head back near our hotel to have dinner. Oh btw, most of the shops in Paris close around 9pm odd. It's earlier compared to London.

Day 3 memories made in Paris:

Highlight of the day: Eiffel Tower

Cut to the point. We went over to Printemps again, to try the all time favorite LADURÉE macarons! A fattening day indeed, haha. We ordered a few types of cakes and various flavours of macarons. Although they cost a fortune but it was really worth it! Their macarons are indescribable, it's like heaven in my mouth. It's so goddamn chewy and and not those typical sweetness and and omg i dont know how to express anymore..

After craving satisfied, we head to the worldwide known as one of the romantic place for bridal shooting. Yeap, that's right. EIFFEL TOWER! The scenery was so breathtaking & it's nicer than you see in those pictures. When we arrived, so happened it was the light show going on hence the Eiffel Tower looked extra beautiful plus it was during night time!

Day 4 memories made in Paris:

It's a Celine hunting day! Spent quarter of the day for it. Felt so bad that I dragged my family along to hunt for my micro Celine luggage tote. We went to 4 Celine store, all micro size were sold out. Finally, a worker in Celine told us to go to this store located at Montaigne or something (forgotten), he said there would probably have a few stocks left. Hell yes, they have it there but only 1 left! JUST 1 LEFT. I wanted the tricolor or just royal blue but it only has the orangey-red one left.
More & more shopping spree going on today as well. 2 Hermes members added into the Hermes family! Yay. It's much cheaper here! This was RM2,200+ before tax refund & I found out in Malaysia was selling 2,800+. It's really worth it.

Tadaaaa! A vibrant colour ; perfect match with dull outfits

Didn't take much pictures for today as we were busy moving around.

Day 5 memories made in Paris:

We just wandered around the city of Paris, and didn't take any pictures as there are nothing special to snap. Anyways, we had to go back early to pack our luggages because we're flying off the next morning. It't time to say goodbye to Paris!

In summary, I enjoyed my UK and France trip very much but I couldn't deny the fact that I prefer London more than Paris. As comparison, the people in London are way friendly and nicer towards the tourist whereas the French were not so friendly and it's harder to communicate to them.
Anyways, it was a good experience to explore somewhere out of asia!

Till then, x.

Loves,
Tane
